I have a lot of friends and family who have always asked me questions about my style (I'm typically a cheap shopper- I'm a teacher after all), travels (always on a budget), shopping-habits, decorating, mothering, laundry-tips, etc. This is a place for me to be able to share all of my favorites and my tips and tricks! I am a full-time high school English teacher, dance team coach, and mother. I spend most of my time in the classroom or at the dance studio, either teaching or waiting for my daughters. I don't have a whole lot of reason to REALLY dress up often and I don't have any intention of getting hair extensions or wearing heels daily. Most of my style posts will be casual weekend wear or items that can be worn to work, since this is what I'm asked about most often. If there is something you want to see- just let me know!
You'll often see me restyling the same clothes in different ways, as I'm not going to buy a new outfit for everyday, but I like my look to be new (I teach high schoolers-- they notice everything!) I'll let you in on my styling tips as we go!
My family travels quite a bit too. Whether it be for vacation, racing (my husband and I are both runners and he is an Ironman triathlete), or just living it up around Louisiana, I always try to get out and see what is out there! It is SO important to me that my children are able to see different areas and different ways of life.
